Coronavirus Response and Information

To our valued clients,

I hope you and your families are all well. In these difficult times, the safety of our clients and team members remains our primary goal.  I wanted to take this time to update you on what we at J.F.D. Landscapes, Inc. are doing during this period.

As long as we are allowed to under the current rules, our crews are continuing the provide the level of landscape care you have come to expect from us. We have implemented several changes, however, in the way we work. Here are some of what we are doing to protect our clients and team members:

-        One team member at a time will use a J.F.D. truck, which means some of our team members are driving their personal vehicles to our job sites. Personal vehicles will park in the street where possible.

-        We have issued updated CDC guidelines in both English and Spanish to all our team members.

-        We are checking on the health status of every team member and members of their household before we allow anyone to work every day. If a team member or a member of their household is ill, that team member will not be allowed to work until we deem it is safe for them to return to work.

-        Every crew is issued a newly refilled disinfectant spray each morning, and our managers oversee them as they disinfect their truck and all tools before heading out. The crews are also instructed to disinfect as needed throughout the day.

-        Every crew has soap and water in their trailer to wash their hands as needed.

-        Our crews generally do not stop at gas stations or make similar stops, as we have all the fuel we need at our shop.

-        We have cloth masks on order and once they come in, our team members will wear them whenever they are interacting with anyone.

-        I am asking that you please refrain from approaching any of our team members as this is best for everyone during this time. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact me as noted at the end of this message.

We continue to keep our crews informed about quarantine procedures, basic hygiene, as well as cleaning and disinfecting practices. Similarly, we have instructed all team members to follow CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This includes frequent hand washing, avoiding close personal contact, staying home if symptoms or sickness is experienced, covering coughs and sneezes, and frequently cleaning surfaces.

Beyond our concerns for our team members and clients, all of us at J.F.D. intend to continue our service commitments to meet our client needs. Jeff, Ryan and I are meeting with clients on-site as needed while maintaining the appropriate social distance.

In order to continue service during this unpredictable time, there will undoubtedly be many changes to service schedules as we accommodate our team members, vendors, and clients who may become ill due to the virus. We will remain flexible to meet your needs while at the same time we request your flexibility as we adjust to multiple uncertainties across our business model.

This is a uniquely challenging time for everyone — businesses and clients alike. J.F.D. Landscapes, Inc. is committed to working diligently to ensure we support our clients now and for many years to come. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns by calling me at 440-543-9644, extension 101, or emailing me, joe@jfdlandscapes.com. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support, and please stay well.
